The Classic Edition is for sale on the following websites at $17.33: Amazon, ToysRUs, and Walmart. Target is a bit of an outlier, with a six-cent increase in the price.
The Classic Edition is relatively cheap compared to other editions. Take the Master Edition for instance. A brand new Master Edition costs $38.21 on Amazon and $38.33 on the ToysRUs website. This price comparison offers Amazon as the retailer with the lowest prices. If you would rather buy the game in a store, I would recommend visiting your local Walmart.
According to the aforementioned research, you can successfully buy a brand new Trivial Pursuit game at the lowest price in Walmart and ToysRUs, as well as on Amazon. Target tends to carry higher prices on everything, and it’s not too far from the rest. Amazon also sells used games, which tend to feature even lower prices.

The catch is that very few are sold and shipped by Walmart itself. Walmart gives you access to such a great variety of games because it allows other companies to sell and ship through its website. As a result, you can enjoy oldies like Trivial Pursuit Mini Packs. Some of the games are used, while others are sealed and brand new. When it comes to prices, Walmart might be even better than Amazon. The 40th Anniversary Ruby Edition costs $204 in Walmart, and $269.99 on Amazon.
Buying the Original Genus Edition
Buying Trivial Pursuit Genus won’t be hard, especially if you’re looking for a newer version. Genus is one of those editions that keeps on giving. As time goes by, Hasbro releases new Genus editions to stay up to date. The newer editions are always more up to date, though, contrary to popular belief, that’s not always what the people want.
You might have heard that the original Genus is the best one. Maybe you don’t quite like the novelty of the newer editions. Trivial Pursuit has been getting complaints from buyers on Amazon about the difficulty level of the new editions. It turns out that the original Genus was actually the most challenging; it’s been downhill from there. While some players prefer answering questions related to current pop culture and events, others would rather skip through a few outdated questions and enjoy a tough game of trivia.
If you belong in the latter group, you can purchase the original Genus online! The chances of you finding it in stores are slim to none.
