Initially, Trivia Crack wowed us with user contributions and the never-ending stream of questions. As time went by, the game continued to wow us, but now they’ve introduced other features. There is always something new in Trivia Crack, which makes playing never the same. You cannot get bored when there is a new feature or mode available every other week!
The addition of coins makes the game more complex than just answering trivia questions. With coins, you can buy things, thus altering your experience and making it more interactive. With the ability to purchase power-ups and extra lives, you can become the master of the game without trying too hard. Here is the rundown on Trivia Crack coins and how to use them.
What Are Coins in Trivia Crack?
Coins in Trivia Crack are a means of exchange. You can earn coins through playing and trade them for power-ups. You can look at it the same way you look at your life and job. You go to work and do tasks to get rewarded for them with money. Then, you put that money in your wallet (I’m sure you, like Trivia Crack, have outgrown a piggy bank by now) and spend it on things that make your life easier. Of course, that’s a very simple explanation, but you get the point!
In other words, coins get assigned to you when you play and win games. You can also buy them in the app. Then, exchange them for power-ups, so that you can play and win more games.
How Do You Get Coins in Trivia Crack?
In order to obtain the sweet coins in Trivia Crack, all you need to do is play games. It’s not that simple, of course, you also have to win. You win some and you lose some, so you’re bound to rack up a handsome amount of coins at some point. If you’re not one for playing without power-ups, you can also buy coins before you even get to play.
You can buy coins in the Trivia Crack shop. The app will charge your card for the in-app purchase of coins. Though many people dislike spending money on virtual entertainment, I think it can really help you out when you’re trying to play strategically.
How Do You Use Coins in Trivia Crack?
Coins are no good on their own, it’s what you buy with them that matters! You can use your coins to purchase lives, gems, and power-ups. All these bonuses can get you through games easier. You can use power-ups during games for questions that you’re not sure about. After playing for some time, you will begin to notice that you can quickly run out of lives if you keep losing. Stocking up on lives will allow you to keep playing for as long as you wish.
In order to exchange your coins for some power-ups, you need to head to the Trivia Crack shop. There, you can select the items that you’d like to purchase. If your wallet has the needed amount or more, then you’re good to go.
What Are the Coin Values?
You can think of coins in terms of real money or the things that they can buy you. $100 will buy you around 130,000 Trivia Crack coins. If that doesn’t sound like a sweet deal, you probably don’t know what this entails.
Because of that, it’s more helpful to look at the value of coins through the prism of what they can buy for you. The Bomb power-up that deletes two wrong answers from the running when you’re answering a trivia question costs 480 coins. The Double Chance power-up gives you an opportunity to try answering the same question again and it costs 240 coins. Translated into real money, it costs less than a dollar to get a little help with a question.
Did This Change?
The value, or rather, price, of coins has changed. In fact, it changes all the time! The price is not tied to inflation though, and the price fluctuations don’t work the same way they do with other products. It seems as though the developers can change the price whenever they please. When they do, they make it lower.
You will often see special offers when you open the app. Sometimes you can take advantage of these offers and buy coins for a smaller price. Offers usually come around during the holidays. However, you may also be surprised with a neat offer on a random Tuesday!
Is There a Coin Limit?
There is no official coin limit in Trivia Crack. I suppose that nobody has ever tried to test it. I can’t even begin to imagine how many coins you would have to rack up to make the developers say, “Alright, you’re done.”
A user on Quora made an assumption about the user with the highest number of coins in Trivia Crack in 2017. They said that while it is not possible to find out once and for all who has the highest number of coins, we can assume that user would be a hacker. A good hacker can simply hack the game and give themselves the maximum amount of coins. I don’t see a flaw in that logic!
Can You Cheat/Hack Your Way into More Coins?
If you look online, you will find common tips and tricks along the lines of “play more games” and “invite your Facebook friends to the game.” None of these are really cheats or hacks though, as they are widely available to everyone in the game. If you’ve not tried these yet, you’re probably still pretty new to the game and you should definitely give these tips a go!
The road is easier for professional hackers. If you have the knowledge that allows you to hack into the game and give yourself coins to spend without as much as playing a game, then you’re probably way better off than the rest of us!
Final Words
Trivia Crack coins can help you win many games if you know how to use them right. Their value can be seen through the power-ups they can buy you. Celeste says
I don’t seem to be able to buy anything with the 1,000s of coins I have accumulated. The shop just want me to buy lives with real money, which I am not prepared to do. All my lives are from rewards. Your article doesn’t clearly explain to me how you use the coins . I’ve tried to tap the various. Icons to no avail.
