When you’re playing Trivia Crack, have you ever wondered who the characters are that guide you through the game and make the experience all the more enjoyable? Trivia Crack characters are called the Trivies, and they are a little family of best friends representing categories and more, even in the Question Factory (not to be confused with hamsters and pets—though we have a guide to those as well!). The characters are meant to improve the gaming experience and make it more interactive, perfect for old and young players alike. With each character talking to you, you feel as though you’re actually playing a game with friends.
If you’d like to get to know all the Trives, then keep on reading!
AI
AI, or Albert, is the character you see in the Science category. The character comes in the form of a green test tube filled a third of the way with some liquid substance. AI seems relaxed and easy-going, as he’s always smiling.
Andy
Andy comes in the form of a crown. He always has a big smile on his face. The crown is a character loved by all, as when you come across it, you can select any category that you like. If you answer the question correctly, you also get the character of your choosing.
Bonzo
Bonzo is a little orange football in Trivia Crack. He represents the Sports category. The character is known to be a little bit mischievous, which makes him even more fun. He is said to enjoy sports, and no wonder! It is his category after all. Bonzo is one of my favorite characters because he’s so cute!
Cap’n Skagg
Cap’n Skagg is the pirate that you might have come across when playing Trivia Crack Kingdoms. Since the game is not around anymore, the pirate is dearly missed by many players. He always looked like he was up to no good!
Hector
Hector is the knight from the game. The knight represents the History category. Hector is very brainy and a bit dorky. He likes to read and learn about Ancient Rome. He also likes to teach other people about his favorite subject – history. Hector is a big fan of documentaries and spending time alone, though he is also an awesome companion.
King Alex
King Alex, or just the king, is a character from Trivia Crack Kingdoms. The king is always jolly and happy, which makes him a pleasure to be around.
Pop
Pop is my personal favorite, because he represents the Entertainment category, which is arguably the easiest category in Trivia Crack. He comes in the form of a bag of popcorn, in classic Trivia Crack colors. Pop is said to enjoy television and music, which only makes sense. He is a good sport and always seems like he’s having a great time.
Queen Melissa
Queen Melissa is from Trivia Crack Kingdoms. She appears in games to ask the player three questions, before she disappears again. If the player manages to answer correctly in 30 seconds, they are rewarded with a crown! The queen makes a beautiful addition to the game. (And if you’re interested in more fun power-ups like this, we’ve got you covered!).
Rocky
Rocky is a green sword. He is tough and brave, which you can gather from his angsty facial expression and aggressive body language. The sword represents a challenge. When completed, you get to find out if you got bested by your opponent or not.
The Marks
The Marks are question marks used in Trivia Crack.
Tina
Tina is the red art brush. She represents the Art category. Tina is the only girl in the game! She was actually named after the sister of the founder of Trivia Crack. Tina often gets annoyed by all the boys in Trivia Crack, but deep down she loves them all. Nevertheless, putting up with their shenanigans can get tiring, so Tina likes to sleep in. She is fun, playful, and artsy.
Tito
Tito is the mascot of the Geography category; he is that little earth! Tito seems to be one of the nicest characters in Trivia Crack, as he always has a gentle smile on his face. He enjoys geography, which comes as no surprise. He also likes to spend time with his Trivia Crack friends. Because he is so much bigger than the other characters, he kind of looks like a nice older brother.
Ukko
Ukko is a spooky character. When he comes on the screen, you better run. Ukko is not really well-liked, because he brings with him extra hard trivia questions. If you’re up for a challenge, you can welcome Ukko in your life. (You might want to know a thing or two about getting free lives before taking on Ukko!).
Willy
Willy is the well-known Trivia Crack wheel. He is the mascot of the game and the most famous Trivia Crack character. He is the one who guides you through the app and takes care of your gaming experience. He also determines which category you’re going to answer a question in. Willy is the adult of the group. He doesn’t get annoyed easily and always takes care of everyone. He runs the show in Trivia Crack.
Have Any Characters Been Retired?
There is no information regarding any Trivia Crack characters (or the Trivies) being retired on the internet. So far it seems as though all the characters from the beginning stuck around to see the success of Trivia Crack, and are even in spin-off games like Trivia Crack Adventure.

Final Words
When it comes to engagement, nobody does it better than the Trivia Crack team (hence why it’s still such a popular app!). I think the characters contribute to the game, making it more fun and interactive (even if they don’t guarantee any wins!). These characters are so much fun, they’ve even become staples of the new Netflix series Trivia Quest, based on the popular app! What do you think? Do you like the Trivies, or do you find them rather annoying? If you love these characters, consider showing your fandom with fun t-shirts! Looking for more ways to personalize your experience?
