Trivia Crack is a trivia game app developed by Etermax. The game reached great heights due to its unique concept and user involvement. One of the greatest features of Trivia Crack is the abundance of questions. You will never get the same question twice because users submit new questions every day.
In recent years, new updates have begun to plague the gaming experience for most users. The greatest distraction is, of course, the unskippable ads. If you’re enjoying the free version of the game, you are guaranteed to see an ad after every wrong answer. That has significantly impacted the gaming experience and made it almost unbearable for some players, leading to many fans lost.
The game has also started bugging, which is an unfortunate fact that many players talk about in the review section of the app in the App Store. Pop-ups offering in-app purchases get quite tiring after a while, and the pet feature has gotten nothing but negative reviews from players, as it is very obviously just a ploy to get you to keep playing with no benefits for the player.
With all these features ruining the Trivia Crack experience, players began to wonder if there is anything similar out there. And, of course, there is! The app has a number of alternatives that don’t come with the same set of annoying features. (And not just Trivia Crack 2!). While we don’t think Trivia Crack will be going anywhere anytime soon, we understand if you’re looking for something new. We’ve gathered some suggestions here for you to enjoy!
Sporcle Party
Sporcle Party focuses on servicing groups of friends rather than individual players. Thus, you actually need some friends to play with to get the most out of the app. The good news is that you can organize actual trivia championships and play remotely or in person. Besides just answering questions, you get to bet on your answers too. If you are absolutely certain that you answered correctly, you can bet as many points as you’d like. In case you were indeed correct, these points will get added to your account.
Besides the question packs that you find on the app, you can also create your own. Users report that it’s hard to find the more obscure question packs, as the few popular ones steal all the spotlight. Nevertheless, you can still enjoy the questions you’re given. This app is great predominantly for people who want to host a trivia night or play with their friends.
Trivia Crack (No Ads)
You can’t get closer to the original than this! Trivia Crack (No Ads) is an ad-free alternative to the Trivia Crack we all know and love (or hate). The app costs a small price and then you can enjoy gameplay with no ads for as long as you want.
There is not much to explain, as the app is exactly like the original Trivia Crack. You get to play against random opponents in different play modes, answer questions on the topics of Entertainment, History, Geography, and more, and climb your local and international leaderboard. All of that with no ads!

Trivia 360
Trivia 360 is a game recommended by many trivia lovers. This game contains multiple-choice questions, as well as true or false questions. There are a number of categories that you can choose from. Some questions feature photos. Players like this game because it teaches them random fun facts about the world. Some questions even provide Wikipedia excerpts with additional information about the question and answer.
Much like in Trivia Crack, you can submit your own questions. User contributions make the game more interesting and ensure that you never run out of questions to answer. Even though there are still some ads (as the game is free), they are much less overwhelming than the ads in Trivia Crack. Besides, you can skip most of them after 5 seconds, unlike Trivia Crack, where you often have to spend a minute or more watching an ad.
Trivia 360 is an offline game, so you don’t actually get to play against strangers in real-time. Nevertheless, the game is quite fun and offers a wide variety of challenging and simple trivia questions. Plus, because the game is offline, you can put your phone on airplane mode and avoid annoying ads.
Popcorn Trivia
Popcorn Trivia focuses on just one category of trivia—movies. If you enjoy the Entertainment category in Trivia Crack, you will definitely enjoy Popcorn Trivia. Much like in Trivia Crack, you get to play against strangers in real time. Each game has 10 questions and you get 30 seconds to answer each question. You can pick your favorite genre or answer questions on a mix of random genres.
Solo mode is much less challenging. You get to pick the category and take your sweet time answering the questions. If you get it wrong, it doesn’t matter; the game will continue to give you chances until you get it right. In this sense, Popcorn Trivia is much less competitive than Trivia Crack. The game contains some ads, but it’s not nearly as bad as Trivia Crack. As a general rule of thumb, free apps will have ads. The developers have got bills to pay, just like the rest of us!
Quizoid
Quizoid makes the list because it is an offline trivia game app. Since you can play offline, you can put your phone on airplane mode to get rid of the ads. Unfortunately, due to its offline nature, Quizoid is not a multiplayer game. If you’re someone who prefers offline games, then this will be right up your alley.
The app offers a number of play modes that will keep you interested for quite some time. Switch between modes to get the most out of the app. There are over 15 categories, so you’ll never get bored. The Pro membership allows you to pick your own categories and difficulty levels. If you don’t have a Pro membership, prepare for some hard questions. While Trivia Crack mostly offers simpler questions, Quizoid is rather challenging. If you don’t shy away from a challenge, then this game is for you.
Final Thoughts
In a perfect world, free game apps would have no ads, would never lag, and would come up with updates frequently. Unfortunately, in our capitalist society, everything comes down to money. If you’re not willing to pay, you’re going to have to deal with an ad or two. Luckily, there are apps that have way fewer ads than Trivia Crack. Take your pick and don’t forget to report back with your own reviews of these apps!
