Everybody knows Trivia Crack. It’s a mobile app that allows you to answer trivia questions and compete against strangers online. You can challenge your friends to battles in real-time or play against the clock and answer as many questions as you can. The rules of the game are pretty simple. It’s basically Trivial Pursuit, but without a game board.

Now, Trivia Crack Adventure is a bit different from Trivia Crack. It is essentially a board game in a digital format. The goal of the game is to be the first one to get to the finish line. You and your opponents do that by answering trivia questions. Just like with real board games, you roll the dice to determine how many steps you’ll take.

Of course, the game is not as simple and straightforward as that. You can land on a space that will set you back. To understand the concept of the shield in Trivia Crack Adventure, you need to understand the rules.

What Does the Shield Mean in Trivia Crack Adventure?

Trivia Crack Adventure is a mix of Trivial Pursuit and Snakes and Ladders. You can land on places that will push you forward in the game. Others will take you all the way back to the beginning. Where you land depends entirely on the number you roll. Naturally, you don’t have a whole lot of control over that. One thing you can do to control the situation is to use a protective shield.

The shield is one of the power-ups you can purchase in Trivia Crack Adventure and use to get further in the game.

What Does the Shield Do?

Much like all the other power-ups in Trivia Crack games, the shield has its own purpose. The purpose of the shield is to protect you from traps. Thus, when you land on a space that’s meant to send you back to the beginning, the shield will protect you.

The shield also does its job of protecting you when you land on a rival’s square. Usually, that would prompt you to answer two trivia questions instead of one. When the shield’s powers are in effect, you only have to answer one question as you normally would.

How Do You Get It?

The shield is a classic power-up that is located on the right side of the dice. To use it, you simply have to click on it. You will have to spend some Trivia Crack coins on this power-up, though it will be worth it if you really need it!

What Happens if You Fall in Trivia Crack Adventure?

If you fall in a black hole on the board, you will have to go back some spaces. That is the opposite of landing on a door, which will actually push you a few spaces further. Don’t worry, there is always a way out. With Trivia Crack, that usually entails spending some coins or watching an ad.

One thing Trivia Crack is known for (other than awesome trivia) is ads. In this situation, watching an ad can actually give you an advantage. Every time you land on a black hole, you will have the opportunity to watch an ad to avoid going back on the board. If you were wearing a shield when you landed on the space, it would automatically protect you from the power of the black hole.

What Other Power-Ups Are Available?

Dice

A pair of dice that appears next to the usual dice will allow you the opportunity to roll two die instead of one, thus giving you a chance to move up to 12 spaces instead of six.

Bomb

The “bomb” option appears when you’re asked a question. Clicking on this will eliminate two of the possible answers, giving you a 50% chance of accuracy.

Checkmark

The green checkmark is quite possibly the most useful power-up. This one also appears when you’re asked a question, and clicking it cuts right to the chase—it will just select the correct answer for you!

Trivia Crack Adventure is an excellent spin on the classic version of Trivia Crack. The game is executed perfectly and the gameplay is exactly what you would expect, in the best way possible. It is your virtual board game if you ever need one! When you’re playing, don’t neglect the power-ups. They can make the game a lot more fun. I mean, who doesn’t like winning, right? Try out all the power-ups and let us know in the comments if you think they’re worth the coins!
