Well, we don’t have any connections with the game show, but we can help you recreate it with your friends! (As well offer up some info on what it’s like to prepare as a contestant and even what it’s like to win!).

That being said, the board game is not easily transportable, so it will likely limit you to playing at home.

Buying Guide
There are so many Jeopardy games to choose from, you might get a little lost. In order to choose the right one for you, consider what you’re looking for in a game.
For starters, how old are you and other players? Most Jeopardy board and card games on this list are recommended for players from the age of 12. However, some feature adult content that is not appropriate for kids. Jeopardy! Original Edition by Pressman, for example, is best suited for adults.
Are you looking to replicate the show in your living room? How close should the gameplay be to the actual show? Some games can create the game show atmosphere better than others. For instance, Jeopardy! Original Edition by Pressman comes with clickers and play money. The card games are generally less complex though, so be on the lookout for that.
Are you leaning more towards general knowledge Jeopardy or something more specific? The list below mentions the Simpsons Jeopardy and ESPN Jeopardy. Those are fun if you’re versed in these subjects. However, Jeopardy as we know it is just as fun! There is a lot to choose from.
Finally, ask yourself, where do you want to play? Jeopardy is a little difficult to play on the road, as most games will require a table. If you want to take the game with you, the board games are out of the question. You can play some card games in a pub or on a road trip, though!

The rules are very simple, so everyone can play! To be more specific, they recommend the game for players from the age of 12. You need at least three players and a bit of space, so it’s best to play at a table. There are 216 cards in total.
Overall, the chief advantage of Jeopardy! Card Game is its portability. You can play anywhere, anytime. However, if you’re open to exploring other options, you might find a better Jeopardy card game.

Ranking: 3/5
Simpsons Edition Jeopardy! comes with over 1,700 questions and answers for long nights of board gaming. The set comes with 35 game sheets, play money, and clickers. These accessories really make you feel as though you are a part of the game show.
Anyone from the age of 12 can play. The game is suitable for three to five players. What makes the game so special is the Simpsons-themed categories, such as Lisa’s Brain Teasers and Bart’s Atlas. You will also see Simpsons art on the gameboard which really seals the deal.
Simpsons Edition Jeopardy! is a great mix of the two TV shows. Naturally, the game will work best if you enjoy the famous animated series.
Jeopardy! Card Game by Mattel
Ranking: 3/5
The Jeopardy! Card Game from Mattel allows you to enjoy playing your favorite TV game show in the comfort of your home. You can challenge your friends and family to an intense match of Jeopardy!
The game is quite similar to the actual game show. As you keep going, the challenges become more intense and the questions are worth more and more points.
There are 56 clue cards, 20 category cards, and 54 game cards. However, though the game is portable, it’s not great for car rides. You need to lie out the top strip on a table. Likewise, the concept of the game is not as close to the show as other games on this list. Some aspects of the show were removed in order to make the game small and portable.
The card game does have a lot of categories you’ll never get bored with. There is a good range of questions, from easy to difficult. If you find the gameplay unnecessarily complex, you don’t have to play exactly the way it says to—make up your own rules!
To sum it up, the Jeopardy! Card Game by Mattel is a simple version of the original Jeopardy! game show. It’s not as thrilling and exciting as some of the other games listed, but it’s a solid option.

Ranking: 4/5
The Jeopardy! board game from Outset Media comes with Jeopardy, Double Jeopardy, and Final Jeopardy cards, just like in the game show! One player has to host, while the others compete to win. There are 180 cards in the set. The game is suitable for players from the age of 12.
Outset Media released another Jeopardy Deluxe Edition board game too. Frankly, this one is not as great. The set lacks button buzzers or pads and pencils for writing. That takes away from the overall appeal of the game, so you must work a little harder to compensate for it.
Other than that, it’s quite similar to the Deluxe Edition. It’s a great game for the entire family!

- Game is played nearly identical to show with Jeopardy, Double Jeopardy and Final Jeopardy cards
- One player is selected to be the host, while the other players compete to win the most money.

ESPN Jeopardy! Board Game by Pressman
Ranking: 4/5
Pressman’s ESPN Jeopardy! game combined America’s greatest game show with ESPN, so sports lovers can rejoice! The game comes with 1,000 questions. Each player gets their own sports-themed sound to suit the theme of the game, and Final Jeopardy is counted down with ESPN’s SportsCenter theme.
The game is suitable for players from the age of 12. Between three and five players can play at once. As you can probably tell from the name of the game, it’s mainly catering towards sports fans. If you don’t follow ESPN, the questions will be quite difficult for you.
Players have complained that the game lacked variety in difficulty levels. As a result, casual sports fans can’t play. Most of the questions cover the past, so there are few questions about current sports news. That could be annoying for the younger generation.
Don’t let any of that scare you though! ESPN Jeopardy! is enjoyable for all ages, as long as you know your sports.

Jeopardy! by Tyco Games **Out of Print**
Ranking: 5/5
Jeopardy! by Tyco Games is a classic game from 1992. Despite its vintage status, it’s high on this ranking because of its across-the-board excellent reviews from lovers of the game show.
Jeopardy! is a great game for family gatherings and parties with friends. The game set is unique because it falls somewhere between a card game and a board game, while not being entirely either. The game comes with card holders, question cards, and paper money. These accessories make the gameplay very similar to the original game show.
As a pleasant bonus, the cards are very easy to read. “Impossible-to-read cards” has been a frequent complaint on other Jeopardy board games.
The game was so popular that they followed it up with a travel-size edition of it in 1993. Both games are so well loved by Jeopardy! fans that they’re often sought after online.

Jeopardy! Deluxe Edition: America’s Favorite Quiz Show Board Game by Outset Media
No products found.Ranking: 5/5
Jeopardy! Deluxe Edition by Outset Media is an expanded edition of Jeopardy! board game that was mentioned earlier on this list. One player is selected as the host and other players compete to win. Just like on the TV show, players bet their earnings in Final Jeopardy to end the game.
The set comes with extra content and a metal ringer. The game is suitable for three or more players from the age of 12. It’s perfect for all fans of the show and first-time players. With this game, you can recreate the show in your own living room.
Naturally, the game is much more fun with more players, but you need at least three per the classic TV rules. If you don’t enjoy and follow pop culture, this game will be no fun to you, as they center the questions around current events and celebrities. Some questions are tough, which makes for fun and challenging gameplay.
Jeopardy! Deluxe Edition is much better than the one mentioned earlier because of all the extra content it has.
Jeopardy! Original Edition by Pressman **Out of Print**
Ranking: 5/5
Sure our number one choice may also be an out-of-print game, but there’s a reason it’s so beloved and well reviewed! Jeopardy! Original Edition from Pressman is meant for three to five players from the age of 12. This one is almost identical to the real game show. The questions and answers are quite similar to those you would see on TV.
To make the game show experience even more immersive, the game comes with clickers, play money, question-and-answer sheets, and a game board. Unfortunately, all clickers sound the same, so it might be hard to tell who clicked first.
Sure, you may only find collectible versions of this game because of its age, but that doesn’t make it any less worth buying! Remember, they released it in 2005, so some current events and pop culture-related questions might be a tad out of date.
It will take you a little time to set up the game, but it’s worth it! Some questions are more challenging than others, which makes the game all the more fun. Players of the game recommend not playing with kids, as some questions are inappropriate for the younger audience. Questions are geared more towards adults, so you’ll have a great time playing Jeopardy! Original Edition with your friends!
The Final Showdown!
You might never get to attend the original game show, but you can easily bring the game show to you! Purchase one of these games and play with your friends from the comfort of your home, bar, or on a road trip. Take the game to a friend’s house to spice up the evening or play at home with your family.
Even though Jeopardy! is a very specific category to have to narrow things down to, there are still eight games that you can select from. Choose wisely and follow the buying guide if you’re not sure about your purchase. Compete with your friends and family members and show them who’s boss in Final Jeopardy!
