Disney Trivial Pursuit Games
Trivial Pursuit: Family Edition Featuring the Magic of Disney (1986)
The first ever Disney edition of Trivial Pursuit came out in 1986. You can imagine how retro the questions seem now! The game boasts six categories: World of Places, World of People, World of Science, World of Music, World of Fantasy, and World of Leisure. There are two sets of questions: one for kids and one for adults. As a result, the whole family can play together.
Don’t be fooled into thinking this game is solely focused on Disney films. It’s merely Disney inspired, with a mix of generic trivia and Disney questions. There is generally at least one Disney question per card. If you’re not a fan of Disney, don’t worry, you can still play!
Today, many people will find this game very nostalgic—if you can actually get your hands on it. Right now, it’s only available in the United Kingdom. If you grew up in the ’80s, Trivial Pursuit: Family Edition Featuring the Magic of Disney will remind you of all the great movies you held dear to your heart as a child.
Trivial Pursuit: Disney – The Animated Picture Edition (1999)

Trivial Pursuit: Disney - The Animated Picture Edition came out all the way back in 1999 with only 1,800 questions. Half of them are for adults, and half are for kids. Again, this setup makes it a great game for nights in with the family, as adults and kids can play together. The game is suitable for two to six players. Anyone from the age of six can play.
Just like most games in this category, Trivial Pursuit: Disney - The Animated Picture Edition focuses on Disney movie trivia. The categories include: Heroes & Heroines, Once Upon a Time, Monsters & Villains, Supporting Stars, Places & Props, and The Wonderful World of Disney. It’s safe to say the game will make for a lot of nostalgia if you want to reminisce about old Disney films.

The game can get quite long if you play by the rules. You can always switch it up and invent your own rules for easier gameplay!
Trivial Pursuit: Disney PIXAR Edition – Bite Size (2003)
Trivial Pursuit: Disney PIXAR Edition – Bite Size was released in Australia in 2003. Thus, you won’t find it on American Amazon, though you can try to look elsewhere! Just like all bite size editions, this game comes in the form of a wedge. It is meant to be a portable travel game, so there is no game board. Instead, players use the color-coded die to determine the next question category.

If you answer one question correctly, you may have a go at another one in the same category. If you answer both correctly, you get to keep the card. Be the first one to collect six cards to win. This edition covers iconic Disney and Pixar movies like Finding Nemo, Toy Story 1 & 2, The Incredibles, A Bug’s Life, Cars, and more.
Trivial Pursuit: Disney Edition (2005)

Trivial Pursuit: Disney Edition is suitable for two to six players or teams. Anyone starting at age eight can play. The game features everyone’s favorite Disney and Pixar characters. All Disney fans will enjoy the scoring wedges with Mickey Mouse ears and special card holder. Each question card features a shot from a Disney movie.
The questions range from easy to difficult, but all are equally fun. This is a great game to play with kids, as it is quite fast-paced and engaging. Trivial Pursuit: Disney Edition is very easy to learn and just as easy to play. In this edition, you will find movies that were released before 2005.
Trivial Pursuit: DVD Disney Edition (2005)
Trivial Pursuit: DVD Disney Edition is currently only available on Amazon in the UK. The game brings DVD questions about your favorite Disney movies and characters. It’s suitable for children from the age of eight. There are 1,800 card questions in the pack, as well as additional questions in video format.
The game covers everything from evergreen classics like Snow White to newer additions such as Monsters, Inc. Though that might not seem so new anymore, it was all the rage in the early 2000s! The game features a special die. It allows you to speed up gameplay if you’re playing with kids. Additionally, the die can grant players bonus moves, two guesses, or give you a chance to win a wedge on a non-wedge space.
If you’re not a big fan of video questions, you can skip them altogether. Just play with the cards and the game board as you would with any other version of Trivial Pursuit. This game is fun for the whole family, especially a Disney loving one!
Trivial Pursuit: Disney Family Edition (2008)
Though Trivial Pursuit: Disney Family Edition is relatively new, you can’t find it on Amazon anymore. This game comes with new and improved questions about popular Disney characters and movies.

The game comes with a special magic wand that reveals the correct answers.
The game is fun for the whole family. The best part is, you don’t need to be a hardcore Disney fan to win. With the new categories, you can strategize your way to the top. The game is recommended for children from the age of eight. Four or more people can play at the same time. Players are encouraged to get into teams.
Trivial Pursuit: Disney For All does not offer traditional Trivial Pursuit gameplay, which may be a disappointment to some. You don’t get to move around the board and collect wedges in six categories. Instead, you can choose your categories. It’s the perfect Disney game for non-Disney fans. Naturally, if you’re expecting lots of difficult trivia about your favorite Disney films, you won’t find it here.

The game got some negative reviews because people expected it to bear the classic Trivial Pursuit format. Just to make it clear, this is not an updated version of an older Disney Trivial Pursuit game. What some players find annoying can be a blessing to others. The game is great for kids and families!
